A MUM-OF-THREE who was planning her wedding died unexpectedly after complaining of a fever.
Ashleigh De-Andrade, 31, of Southport, was survived by her three sons and fiancé Jordan Nimmo.
Ashleigh is said to have become ill after spending the weekend at Haven Hafan y Môr Holiday Park in North Wales. She passed away in the hospital.
Ashleigh was a second-year university student studying mental health nursing.
Lauren Guest, 25, told the Liverpool Echo that Ashleigh complained of a fever after returning from a vacation on April 23.
Lauren stated that Ashleigh went to bed for a few hours and was discovered sweating.
Her partner drove her to the hospital, where she had several seizures.
Lauren stated that Ashleigh is believed to have had a brain bleed and meningitis.
Lauren created a Gofundme page to raise funds for her partner and sons to spend time together.
Lauren penned a touching note to her late friend which read: “I am so sorry this happened to you. It’s true what they say he really does take the best of us because you was one of the most amazing people I have ever met, you were so special Ash.
“We are all absolutely devastated & can’t believe you are gone. You will be forever missed & hold such a special place in all of our hearts our beautiful girl.
“Rest in peace & keep shining bright looking down on your beautiful family especially your boys.”
