Numerous kites of various colors, shapes, and sizes are scattered over the beautiful skies. Everyone is focused on cutting their opponent’s kite in order to win the game. The Internet has recently been delighted by a video of a monkey imitating a human by trying to fly a kite.
The now-viral video was posted to Instagram on January 14, Makar Sankranti, a Hindu holiday. The intriguing video shows a distant shadow of a monkey perched on a roof. The kite’s strings are shown being pulled by the monkey in various directions, almost human-like as if the animal were trying to get it to soar very high. The monkey finally manages to bring the kite down and grip it in its clutches after several futile efforts. It appears to get intrigued and flings and spins the kite about in an apparent attempt to understand how it works.

“Yanha ke bandar taak patangbaazi ke shaukeen hai, (Here, the monkeys are also fond of kite flying).” the textual arrangement that was integrated into the video said. The visual evidence also suggests that the incident was caught on camera in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Social media users quickly posted their views about the IG post as soon as it began to become viral online. One user made a joke, “Ye sahi se ud nehi raha (It’s not flying correctly)”. One person joked, “This is India, anything can happen here.” “Ye India hai, yanha par kuchh bhi ho sakta hai yaha,” said another. Several other people laughed while sending emoticons.
