Mikaela Mayer has joined OnlyFans, promising a “much closer look” in the future.
The 32-year-old held the unified super featherweight titles until October 2022, when she was defeated by Alycia Baumgardner for the first time in her professional career. Mayer, who has a 17-1 record, has a following of 184,000 on Instagram as a result of her fighting and more recent risque modelling shoots.
And now, the American has revealed that she will be following several of her fellow fighters by creating her own account on the subscription-based content site OnlyFans.
“I am super excited to announce that I have officially partnered with @OnlyFans to take my BIGGEST supporters on a much more in depth, personal journey!” Mayer wrote on Twitter.
She also shared a video of herself sparring while wearing an OnlyFans T-shirt. “Hello, my name is Mikaela Mayer, and welcome to my OnlyFans,” she said.
“I want to give my subscribers, my truest fans, a much closer look inside training camp, fight week and yes, my personal life outside of boxing.”
Mayer went on to say she would be doing Q&As, exclusive live streams and interactive DMs among other features.
It comes after she was defeated in controversial circumstances for the first time last October. After it was announced that she had lost by split decision, boos rang throughout the O2 Arena, despite many fans, including Ebanie Bridges, believing she had taken the most rounds.
Mayer had directed a kick in the direction of Baumgardner during their live face-off prior to the bout, which only added to their rivalry. Mayer is expected to fight her way back to a grudge rematch in the future.
