The Colorado police officer who was supposedly fired from the department for working a side job for OnlyFans has had the last laugh: She now earns five figures per month from her DIY porn career and regularly receives “marriage proposals.”
“I love what I do, and I have absolutely no regrets,” said Melissa Williams, 46, of her unorthodox badge-to-riches story. “It’s a year now since I left the police and I am having the time of my life.”
According to the former Arapahoe Sheriff’s County Police officer, who is one of the most well-known creators on the adult entertainment platform, she makes over $27,000 a month selling sexy photos. Additionally, Williams, who goes by the pornographic nickname Lieutenant Bella Lexi, shot her first X-rated movie and signed a book contract.
Williams made a remarkable comeback after supposedly being fired from the force in 2021 for selling obscene OnlyFans photos on the side.
The 28-year police veteran, who reportedly retired from the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office after more than 11 years, had reportedly begun working part-time on the porn platform in May 2020 as a way to spice up her relationship with her husband and to decompress from her challenging and dangerous job.
Williams mainly published racy pictures of herself and her husband, who chose to maintain his anonymity out of respect for his privacy. The mother of two, who frequently shares sexy videos with her husband, said: “A lot of the material my husband and I shared is things we’d taken in our private sex life over the years.”
The former attorney had allegedly been working undercover for 18 months when the cop’s employer allegedly learned about her lewd side business and sent her a formal email complaint. Williams was shocked to learn that her coworkers had been talking about her extracurricular activities and some had even joined her page.
Because the email stated that her coworkers “had gotten access to my private account to see my private stuff so they could examine my behaviour,” the retired cop said she felt “angry and embarrassed.” However, she believed that despite pretending to be a police officer, they had really just wanted to see her “naked,” and that her pornographic photos had spread throughout the office.
“I didn’t consider my OnlyFans page to be a work matter,” she said of the skin-quisition.
Williams subsequently departed the force on the advice of a doctor, and negotiated a $30,000 severance package.
Williams now seems to have gotten the ultimate payback for being a big sex-cess. Not only did the aspiring adult star’s fan base quintuple, but she also made her adult film debut earlier this year, which she “absolutely adored.” She was apparently only making $4,000 per month before she departed.
“I was really nervous the first time but they were all so professional and so patient and so kind, and it went really well, and I was hooked,” Wiliams described. “Essentially, having sex on camera is just work.”
She added, “It’s not intimate like when I have sex with my husband but it is a fun experience being an actress and doing it on camera.”
Williams even claimed that her porn colleagues were way more “professional” and respectful than most of the police officers she worked with.
Williams has termed working in the adult business a “liberating and tremendously” empowering experience that allowed her to “explore my sexuality,” even though moving from cop to sex star might sound like a cliché porn fantasy scenario in and of itself.
According to reports, Williams’ future book, which is scheduled to be released in May, will concentrate on dating and relationships. The former officer of copping a deal said, “I am pleased to be a writer today and be able to use my experience on the force to help other women.” According to reports, she even began getting messages from people seeking relationship guidance.
Ultimately, she wants to “continue using my background to help others.”
