While the pop star Mariah Carey was on vacation in Italy and the US in July, a break-in occurred at her house in north Atlanta.
The July incident at Carey’s house was confirmed by the Sandy Springs Police Department to Fox News Digital, but no other information was immediately provided.
Photos of Carey working and unwinding in Sicily and Capri during the month of July could be seen on the “Obsessed” singer’s Instagram.
The famous person stated in a post dated July 16: “Taking a picture before the humidity foils my hair here in Capri.”
In a three-week-old post, Cary bid Capri “ciao.” The singer of “Without You” announced on Instagram the next week that she would be “[o]ut East for the week.”
The $5.6 million, nine-bedroom, 13-bathroom property in Sandy Springs was bought by a trust under Carey’s name last year, according to Page Six.
What was taken on July 27 from the brick mansion is still unknown, according to the initial report from the outlet.
The incident is being looked into by Sandy Springs police.
