Man was fatally stabbed at a residence in Ossett, and a murder inquiry has been opened.
Following reports of a stabbing, police responded to the Parkfield View property just after 8 o’clock last night (Friday). A 41-year-old male was pronounced dead at the scene.
Residents reported seeing a strong police presence and a helicopter circling the area to Yorkshire Live. Five people, three men and two women, have reportedly been detained and are still in police custody, according to West Yorkshire Police.
Today (Saturday), a scene is set up while forensic investigations are made. Another local has contacted us to report that there is a police cordon around the woodland area between Parkfield View and the M1.
