After announcing a crackdown on the password-sharing option for accounts on its streaming platform, Netflix has come under fire. As a result, the huge streaming service will soon start charging subscribers additional costs to share accounts with others who don’t identify in the account holder’s “primary location.” The people have been upset by this and have been ranting on social media to show their unhappiness. A Twitter user chose to sarcastically poke fun at Netflix amid all the takes and trolls, which even caught the attention of the streaming service provider and forced it to reply.
A user named @SaeedDiCaprio posted on the bluebird app about how someone allegedly “hacked” into his Netflix account a month ago and left him a nice letter after viewing the “CoComelon” series. He uploaded a screenshot of a message alert displaying the sign-in of a (perhaps familiar) Omani user to his Netflix account. Not only that, but his entire “hacking” prank against Netflix featured a new twist that displayed three films or television shows under “My List” with the labels “Thanks For Everything,” “YOU,” and “Legend.” clever, huh?
