On one of the Long Island Railroad platforms at Penn Station on Sunday morning, a man was killed after he came into touch with the electrified third rail, according to the NYPD.
According to an MTA Police Department representative, the incident happened at 4:52 in the morning on LIRR Track 21.
Officials stated that there was no impact on train operations and that an investigation was ongoing.
