A major vehicle fire in one of the airport’s parking lots has forced the suspension of all flights at London Luton Airport.
A representative for the airport stated that entry to the airport was restricted and that emergency services were attending to the fire in Terminal Car Park 2.
Huge flames and billowing smoke could be seen from the top floor of the multi-story structure in footage that was published online.
Although the East of England Ambulance Service was called, no casualties were reported.
The fire is being contained by the Bedfordshire fire department, which reports that 80% of the third story of the parking lot has been damaged.
Following a call at 20:47 BST, the fire department reported that there was a vehicle fire and that ten fire engines were responding.
The airport requested that visitors avoid visiting the location.
