Davide Sanclimenti abruptly unfollowed co-star George Tasker after leaving the villa, leading some LOVE Island viewers to believe that the two have a hidden grudge.
On Monday night, the 27-year-old Italian hottie and the Turkish beauty Ekin-Su Cülcülolu were named the winners of the eight series.
Since getting their phones back, the Islanders have unfollowed their love rival George without delay.
While staying at Casa Amor, George had some hot bedtime antics with the Ekin-Su, though the soap opera star insisted nothing inappropriate occurred.
When the explicit scenes were made public during Movie Night, it greatly irritated Davide, who questioned whether he could trust the actress.
The fact that Davide has now unfollowed the labourer from the Cotswolds suggests that the conflict is still very much alive was quickly noticed by onlookers.
One fan wrote: “Davide unfollowed George on Instagram finally.”
Another posted: “Davide in his boyfriend era and we love to see it.”
A third echoed: “Good, I knew he would once he got his phone back. Ain’t no way he’s listening to that boy over Ekin.”
“I didn’t think Davide would actually unfollow him. I keep underestimating him,” a fourth said.
One more said, “Yeah, I’m shocked he’s still after Mollie, but oh well, she wasn’t as awful as George.”
After George alleged that producers “fixed up” his bed scene with Ekin-Su, this has happened.
In the feared sister villa, the couple shared a bed, and things appeared to become a little heated.
Some fans were left to wonder if anything truly transpired between the two.
Laura discussed the issue on Capital Breakfast with Ronan Kemp.
Says Laura “Ekin-Su was someone I was kind of keeping an eye on.
“So when I was saying “oh!” to Mollie when she mentioned being in bed with Davide, I believe it was Ekin-Su who simply grabbed his hand and threw it away, saying “yeah, Ekin-Su!”
But I’ve also seen you playing the fiddle, and I love how hypocritical it all is!
But George wasn’t pleased with these remarks, and it is said that he got in touch with Ekin-parents, Su’s who manage her social media accounts, to set the record straight.
It is alleged that he assured them that “nothing transpired” between them and that everything has been exaggerated.
When Ekin-Su was observed gazing, it all began.
