This pair sealed the deal on Valentine’s Day with an underwater kiss that lasted for four minutes and six seconds. Move over, flowers and chocolates. For the longest underwater kiss, they broke the Guinness World Record.
The pair shared a kiss in an infinity pool at the Maldives’ LUX South Ari Atoll resort. One of the best underwater videographers in the Maldives, Sidey the Shark, captured the scene on camera. Also watching their attempt at a Guinness World Record was a large throng.
“These lovebirds set a new underwater kiss record since their joint love was the ocean,” according to Guinness World Records’ official Twitter account, which posted a video of the couple kissing underwater.

Beth Neale and Miles Cloutier first met in Bermuda five years ago, and they currently reside in South Africa with their daughter, who is 1.5 years old.
The previous Guinness World Record, set 13 years prior at three minutes and 24 seconds, was broken by Miles and Neale.
