Tim Cruz, the district attorney for Plymouth, announced on Wednesday that Lindsay Clancy, 32, is the subject of an arrest warrant request.
Just after 6 o’clock on Tuesday, police were called to the Summer Street residence. When the children’s father arrived home, he was the one to find his wife and learn that she had made an attempt on her own life. She was reportedly brought to a hospital after jumping out of a window.
Police discovered a 5-year-old girl and 3-year-old kid inside the house with “clear evidence of serious trauma” following their suspected strangulation. There was a hurry.
An unconscious 7-month-old boy was also discovered. He’s still in the hospital after being flown by MedFlight to a facility in Boston.
Investigators are considering the possibility that Lindsay Clancy experienced postpartum psychosis, sources told the WBZ-TV I-Team.
She is still receiving medical care in the hospital and will be charged as soon as she is capable of doing so.
