The transgender community has claimed that false information is being spread about the bill and that labelling those who are fighting for their separate identities as homosexuals amounts to cruelty to the community. This is in contrast to the country, where on the one hand the Transgender Rights Bill is being criticised by some religious parties and has been described as an attempt to promote homosexuality in the country.

Pakistan’s National Assembly has passed Transgender Rights Act that transgenders are protected, given equal access to education and basic health care, and given the freedom to express their gender identity on their national identity cards and passports as well as the right to vote and run for office.
However, some religious organisations believe that this bill is actually an effort to legalise homosexuality in the nation.
The measure is being contested by Jamaat-e-Islami senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan at the Federal Shariah Court. He believes that a medical certificate should be made necessary for anyone who wishes to register themselves as transgender in the Nadra records.
The transgender bill, according to Maulana Fazlur Rahman, head of the PDM and a close friend of the government, is “a rebellion against the Quran and Sunnah.” He stated, “Parliament of Pakistan has no power to enact laws against the Quran and Sunnah, and such laws are made covertly, when there is no public discussion of the matter.
In a recent remark, he asserted that Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam is drafting a permanent amendment in this regard.
The transgender community, on the other hand, believes that the bill is for the rights and protection of transgender people, including equal and basic educational rights, full access to basic health facilities like any other citizen, birth certificates, the right to register or the right to be issued Form B, the right to make an identity card, the right to write (eunuch) in the gender box of the identity card, the right to vote, the removal of barriers to employment, the right to make an identity card, and the right to make
They contend that the law gives transgender people the right to take legal action against those who force them to beg on the streets, while also adding to the government’s obligation that if a transgender person is found guilty of a crime and convicted, he or she should be kept in separate jails like men, women, and children.
Zanaiah Chaudhry, a transgender rights activist, told The Express Tribune that the 11 pages of the Act that was passed did not reference any form of sex transition and did not permit or permit unnatural intercourse between males and women. “Neither the marriage of a man to another man nor a woman to another woman is mentioned in this Act,”
According to renowned trance artist Jannat Ali, eunuchs are people who, because of their gender and gender disparity, are unable to follow social male behaviour and laws. According to Ali, the term “intersex” actually refers to a grouping of more than 30 sexual traits. This means that every intersex infant has unique genitalia, and frequently, by the time they reach adolescence, the outwardly masculine parts start to shift, according to Ali.
She continued, “The same point has been made in the Transgender Rights Act that every transgender person can choose their own preferred gender identity upon reaching the age of 18.” She added that it is being argued, despite the fact that this law is only for transgender people, that ordinary men and women would also choose the gender of their choice for their own personal interests.
The Protection of Rights Act of 2018—often referred to as the Transgender Act—may be mentioned. When Shahid Khaqan Abbasi served as prime minister in 2018, this bill was passed during the final months of the PML-N administration. It was one of the rare legislation that received support from both the government and the opposition.

With due respect Dr Rita, its not an individual's choice nor is any such opinion appreciated when it comes to islam! Allah has clearly mentioned in Quran in many chapters how even those who stay neutral in supporting #LGBTQ will be punished! How sympathisers too faced the torment https://t.co/lGZ9Vpix58
