An inquest heard that a “BEAUTIFUL” mother-of-three was tragically discovered dead at home by her husband.
Laura Crabtree, 38, was found dead at her home in Derbyshire by her husband Melvin, but her cause of death is still unknown.
The facts behind her sudden death on February 10 of this year are still unknown seven months later.
At Chesterfield Coroner’s Court, an investigation into Laura’s death, who friends referred to as a “earth angel,” is currently taking place.
Derbyshire Police informed the Coroner’s office about it.
Multiple drugs were discovered in the mother’s system, Assistant Coroner Miss Susan Evans told the inquest, according to DerbyshireLive.
This includes the potent analgesic morphine as well as pharmaceutical medications frequently used to treat anxiety and severe depression.
Her husband Melvin, who found her dead in their Chaddesden house, officially recognised her body.
Following early examinations, the 38-year-death old’s was characterised as a multidrug poisoning death.
But Miss Evans claimed that more information was needed before a thorough inquiry could be conducted to help reconstruct her final hours.
She postponed the inquest until November 22 in an effort to gather more information about the circumstances behind Laura’s untimely passing.
A memorial book for the “lovely” mother was created online by friends and filled with tributes from friends and family.
One wrote: “You made a beautiful family without really knowing it.
“That’s what is called an earth angel, I know you will be looking out for them always.”
Another added: “Absolutely heartbroken Laura.
“You were my rock through some really hard times and I’ll never forget all the laughs we’ve had.
“Your laugh was infectious and I’ll never forget it.”
Laura is survived by her three children and her husband Melvin.
