The City Traffic Police (CTP) Lahore has issued a detailed Traffic Plan for cricket spectators for the Pakistan Super League (PSL 8) matches to be held in Lahore in order to maintain a smooth flow of traffic.
Parking
Visitors arriving by car can park at Government College Gulberg (entry Ferozepur Road and Center Point National Park), Liberty Parking (entry Hussain Chowk and Liberty Roundabout), LDA Plaza and Sun Fort Hotel (entry Hussain Chowk, Gulberg Center from Left Side, Gulberg Road, Nestle Chowk, and Hijaz Hospital).
Lahore Traffic Plan for PSL 8
Furthermore, according to the Lahore Traffic Plan for the PSL 2023 matches, spectators coming from Mall Road, Jail Road, and Canal Road can use Ferozepur Road and park their vehicles at the left gate at Government College for Boys before the Kalma Chowk Flyover.
Those coming from Thokar Niaz Baig can use the Cricket Campus Flyover, Barkat Market, Kalma Chowk Underpass, and Government College for Boys to get to Center Points and park their cars.
Meanwhile, visitors from Mozang, Ichra, Chungi Amar Sidhu, Kasur, and Ferozepur Road can park their vehicles at Gulberg College for Boys (Ferozepur Road Gate).
Visitors from Cantt, Defence (DHA), and Cavalry can use Firdous Market to get to Hussain Chowk and park their cars at Liberty Parking or Sun Fort Hotel. In the meantime, they can drive to Gulberg College and park their vehicles there.
Pedestrians who want to watch the game can enter through FIFA Gate, Liberty, or Government College Gulberg for Boys, according to the Lahore Traffic Plan.
Furthermore, during the PSL 8 matches, the Main Ferozepur Road, Jail Road, Canal Road, Main Boulevard Road, and Gulberg will remain open for traffic.
A specific road will be used for the playing team’s commute from and to the stadium and their hotel, and it will be closed for the shortest amount of time possible to avoid any inconvenience to commuters.
The management is also providing a shuttle service from Gulberg College to the stadium for the elderly and differently-abled spectators.
