After colliding with a car belonging to a gang, a cyclist was fatally stabbed.
Locally known as Kyron Lesner, the victim, 21, is said to have been chased by the four guys after being knocked off his bike by their VW Golf.
On Sunday night in Slough, Berkshire, they got out of the car and caught up with him before stabbing him to death.
In response to the trauma, Thames Valley Police have opened a murder investigation.
He was pursued by the group into Waterman Court in Cippenham, where he was fatally stabbed before they fled the area.
The victim was declared dead at the spot, and officers with specialised training have informed and are assisting the man’s next of kin.
Following the horror, flowers were seen Monday adorning the street sign on Waterman Court.
The Evening Standard reports that police believe the collision may have caused damage to the black automobile.
A 21-year-old man was involved in a bicycle accident in Earls Lane with a vehicle that was later determined to be a black Volkswagen Golf, according to a police spokeswoman.
“Approximately four males got out of the Golf after the crash and chased the male into Waterman Court, where he was fatally attacked. The criminals then drove away from the area in a black VW Golf.
“South Central Ambulance Service paramedics also responded, but regrettably, just after 9.45 p.m., the man was pronounced deceased at the site.”
“This is a tragic and frightening occurrence, which has resulted in the death of a 21-year-old man,” senior investigating officer DCI Andy Howard continued.”
He also mentioned how little is known about the criminals and requested anyone who may have seen anything of the incident to come forward.
Additionally, DCI Howard requested any information from anyone who may have spotted a black VW Golf in the neighbourhood on Sunday night.
