The province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will observe a six-day holiday in observance of Eid ul-Fitr.
The Eid holiday will start on April 21 and end on April 26, according to the announcement made on Friday.
The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet on April 20 to search for the Eid ul Fitr crescent moon in the interim.
According to a government statement, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, the director of the Ruet-e-Halal Board, will oversee the gathering, which will be held at the service of the strict undertaking in Islamabad.
The federal and Punjabi governments had previously announced five holidays on the eve of the festival of sweets. The holidays are observed from April 21 through April 25.
