“In the aftermath of CORONA Pandemic 2019, the working days for Academic Session 2022-23 are not sufficient to complete the course work in the schools of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It has, therefore, been decided to waive off winter vacations in the summer zone schools of the province till any unusual change in the weather condition.” said the notification.
The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has scrapped winter vacations in 2022 for schools in the province’s summer zone. According to the specifics, the decision was made due to insufficient time to complete course work following school closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Similarly, the Government of KP has decreased winter vacations for schools in the province’s winter zone, which will be closed from January 1 to February 15, 2022.
The decision was made in the best interests of the pupils and to bridge the enormous gap in working days in schools, according to the notification.
