Bollywood has recently seen a flurry of high-profile weddings, including those of Swara Bhasker and Fahad Ahmad and Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic. Among all of them, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani‘s wedding was the one that garnered media attention. In a lavish but private ceremony, the Bollywood actor and actress wed at Jaisalmer’s Suryagarh Palace earlier this month. A Mumbai reception was held after it.

The designer shared private photos of the couple on Instagram, showing how much the bride adored emeralds. The STUNNERS @kiaraaliaadvani @sidmalhotra in timeless class black and white at their wedding celebration party with friends in Mumbai, he shimmers in self-black sparkle, she shimmers with exquisite diamonds and emeralds, he shimmers in self-black sparkle, he shimmers in self-emerald sparkle. Kiara wore a flowing black velvet dress with a white long sleeve bodice. Her neckline was adorned with a 5-strand necklace that was set with sparkling diamonds and large emeralds. It was the ideal play to inject colour into her monochromatic outfit.
Manish Malhotra dressed the Bollywood couple for all of their wedding-related events, including their Rajasthani wedding ceremony. Furthermore, Kiara’s obsession with emeralds was all too real. Sidharth wore beige and gold, while Kiara wore pink, and both stayed with pastel colours. Manish wrote in the caption of their photo, “In our exclusive bridal set made of natural diamonds and Zambian emeralds from the Manish Malhotra High Diamond jewellery collection, our stunning bride @kiaraaliaadvani looks ethereal. In our Maharaja necklace by Manish Malhotra Uncut Jewellery by Raniwala 1881, @sidmalhotra exudes classic regalia.” A multi-strand diamond and emerald choker that sat high on her neckline was worn with her wedding lehenga. It had rectangular emeralds surrounded by elaborate diamond patterns. The same was true of Kiara’s diamond and emerald earrings.
