General Advocate Punjab To encourage sustainability, Khalid Ishaq has decreased the gasoline allotment for Advocate General Office vehicles.
The most recent notification states that the monthly gasoline allotment for vehicles with 1800cc engines has been decreased from 500 to 300 liters. The fuel quota for vehicles with engines smaller than 1300cc has been decreased from 300 to 200 liters.
The maximum fuel capacity for vehicles under 1000cc has been reduced from 200 to 100 liters. Finally, instead of receiving 120 liters of fuel each month, a different category of vehicles with engines smaller than 1300cc will now only receive 100.
It is a long-term policy that promotes austerity and eco-friendliness, the report claims. The department spokesperson stressed the importance of sustainable government operations by telling the media that such administrative choices will set an example for other departments and government agencies.
The spokesperson further stated that by reducing fuel allowances, the Advocate General’s Office demonstrates fiscal responsibility and gives environmental concerns top priority. Given the increased focus on sustainability and ethical governance, the department hoped the decision would be well received.
