After missing court, the stepmother of missing 7-year-old Harmony Montgomery was once more taken into custody.
Police in New Hampshire detained Kayla Montgomery, 31, for reasons unconnected to the disappearance of her stepdaughter Harmony, who is thought to be dead, in 2019.
The day after a warrant was issued for her arrest for missing court, she was taken into custody at her residence.
Since her disappearance in October 2019, when she was five years old, Harmony has not been seen alive.
However, Manchester New Hampshire Authorities Chief Allen Altenberg stated in early August that “biological evidence” points to her death in December 2019 according to the police.
He didn’t provide any more information or clarification. Kayla, Harmony’s stepmother, is currently being prosecuted on unrelated weapons and perjury allegations.
Two years after the missing 8-year-old child, Harmony Montgomery, there has been a significant development.

Adam, the girl’s father, is charged with both unrelated firearms offences and child abuse.
Both of them have entered not guilty pleas to all counts, and neither has been accused of anything related to Harmony’s passing.
A New Hampshire court exclusively revealed to The U.S. Sun on Thursday that Kayla was the subject of an arrest warrant after she failed to show up in court on Thursday.
The judge granted the State’s request for an arrest warrant, although it is sealed, the court stated in an email.
The warrant is sealed, but the court didn’t specify why.
On Tuesday, Adam’s defence team filed court paperwork requesting information about the promises made to him.
“To protect Mr. Montgomery’s due process rights as outlined in Brady and its progeny, the State must disclose to the defense any and all consideration provided these witnesses,” according to documents
