According to Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz, the mercury in Karachi is likely to rise from 34 to 36 degrees Celsius starting on April 6 (Thursday).
Sarfaraz added that there is currently no chance of a heat wave in the port city, but this year’s monsoon rains are probably going to be less than usual.
The chief meteorologist stated in a statement that Karachi’s temperature has been pleasant and lower than average since the first day of Ramadan.
Between April 5 and 6, according to Sarfaraz, Pakistan will experience pleasant weather brought on by westerly winds.
The coastal region of Sindh and Balochistan, on the other hand, could experience a strong sea breeze today and tomorrow, according to weather analyst Jawad Memon.
While the sky will remain clear or partly cloudy in the evening, winds may gust as high as 25 to 30 kilometres per hour.
