According to meteorological expert Jawad Memon, Karachi will have an even hotter summer this year, as temperatures in February are well above average. Memon predicts that rising February temperatures will result in unusually hot conditions in the coming days.
Furthermore, he has warned that the western system of winds, which is expected to hit northern Pakistan tomorrow (Sunday), could hit Karachi.
Memon predicts that the city’s temperature will rise beginning Sunday, with the mercury reaching 32-34 degrees Celsius during the day. However, he has also stated that the weather may remain mild at night due to the sea breeze blowing through the city, with temperatures likely dipping to 18-20 Celsius.
Unfortunately, as a result of global warming, Pakistan has experienced an unusual rise in temperatures, resulting in longer and more severe summers and heavy rains. The previous year, the country was wracked by devastating floods caused by monstrous monsoons.
