The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that this month will bring above-average rainfall to regions of Sindh in the southeast.
Details indicate that the province will be in the path of two additional monsoon weather systems in September. Up to 30% more rain is anticipated for Tharparkar, Badin, and Umarkot this month.
Floods brought on by monsoon rainfall have wrecked devastation across the nation. Sindh has suffered billion-dollar infrastructural damage and hundreds of fatalities since June.
According to the most recent NDMA daily report, since June 14th, 422 individuals have died in the province. Syed Murad Ali Shah, the chief minister of Sindh, has said that the province has lost an estimated 550 billion rupees in value.
On Thursday, it will be hot and muggy in most plain areas, but there may be light rains in some parts of AJK, GB, and upper KP, according to the PMD’s daily prediction.
On Friday, it’s expected to be the same. The majority of the nation has endured hot and muggy weather over the last 24 hours. The warmest cities in the nation were still Noorupur Thal (41°C), Dalbandin (40°C), Naukundi (40°C), and Sibbi (40°C).
