Pakistan Metrological Department has forecasted summer-like conditions in February, with highs that could reach 36 to 38 degrees Celsius in three to four days.
According to chief meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz, temperatures in the province’s Tharparkar, Umarkot, Mirpur Khas, Badin, and Thatta districts are predicted to increase from 36 to 38 degrees Celsius.
On February 17 and 18, the highest temperature in Karachi could reach 33 degrees Celsius, according Pakistani weather officials.
According to Sarfaraz, the maximum temperature is not anticipated to rise in the province’s other districts.
A forecast indicates that the mild weather will probably last until February 21.
The sea breeze, which has a calming effect on the city’s climate, is likely to stop during this time.
Climate change is being blamed by weather experts for this unusual weather pattern and the unexpectedly high temperatures.
