This year, Karachi is likely to experience hot weather because February’s temperatures are higher than average, according to weather expert Jawad Memon, who spoke to Geo News on Saturday.
The expert claims that the rising temperatures in February portend impending days of extreme heat.
The expert predicted that Karachi may experience western and northwestern winds tomorrow as the western wind system is expected to affect upper Pakistan (Sunday).
Memon predicted that the city’s temperature would rise starting on Sunday (today), and that daytime highs of 32–34°C might be possible. However, because of the city’s exposure to sea winds at night, the weather may continue to be mild.
He added that the temperature may drop to 18 to 20 degrees Celsius at night.
Global warming has caused Pakistan to experience unusually high temperatures, longer and more intense summers, and heavy rains.
Following enormous monsoons, the nation was devastated by catastrophic floods the previous year.
