Hot weather is expected to prevail in Karachi this year, as temperatures in the current month of February are above average, according to weather expert Jawad Memon, who spoke to Geo News on Saturday.
Rising temperatures in February, according to the expert, indicate extremely hot weather in the coming days.
According to the expert, the western and north-western winds may hit Karachi tomorrow, as the western system of winds is expected to affect upper Pakistan (Sunday).
Memon forecasted a rise in the city’s temperature beginning Sunday (tomorrow), saying it could reach 32-34°C during the day. However, due to sea winds blowing in the city, the weather may remain mild at night.
He added that the temperature could drop to 18-20°C at night.
Due to global warming, Pakistan has experienced an unusual rise in temperatures, resulting in longer and more intense summers and heavy rains.
Last year, the country was devastated by devastating floods caused by monster monsoons.
