The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Tuesday forecast freezing winds in Sindh in the upcoming days, thus Karachiites must prepare for a cold winter at last.
The national weather predicting centre has stated that between January 12 and January 17, Karachi and other regions of the province are likely to experience cold weather.
According to PMD, a westerly system that entered the province through Balochistan is likely to cause the temperature in Sindh to drop as low as 3°C during this time.
The met department predicts that temperatures would likely rise beyond 5°C in Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta, and Tando Muhammad Khan.
The temperature would reach 3°C during the given period in Shaheed Benazirabad, Noshero Feroz, Khairpur, Sukkur, Ghotki, and Sanghar.
The temperature will stay between 2-4°C in the southern district of Tharparkar and the northern Sindh districts of Larkana, Kashmore, Jacobabad, and Qambar Shahdadkot.
In the coming 24 hours, PMD has forecast chilly, dry weather for the majority of the nation, while cloudy conditions are expected in the western and higher districts.
