From February 16 to February 19, according to the Department of Meteorology, there will be a severe heat wave in several parts of Sindh, Tharparkar, Badin, Thatta, Umarkot, and Mirpur Khas, with temperatures there likely to reach 35 to 37 degrees Celsius, including Karachi. As high as 35 to 37 degrees Celsius can be experienced.
Notably, Karachi typically experiences temperatures between 26 and 28 degrees Celsius throughout the current month; nonetheless, climate change is to blame for Pakistan’s harsh weather conditions.
