According to Jawad Memon, senior weather analyst at Weather Updates Pakistan, a real-time weather forecasting platform, Sindh in general and Karachi in particular may have an early winter this year.
In this regard, Jawad stated that the winter season in Sindh is predicted to start in November and that the region will experience extreme cold.
Jawad said that the province is anticipated to face hot and humid weather from Wednesday through Friday based on the current weather in the provincial capital.
In Karachi, the temperature would rise to 35–36°C over the predicted period. The sea wind is also anticipated to be suspended during the day, which will make matters worse.
Syed Murad Ali Shah, the Chief Minister of Sindh, informed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif earlier in August that more than 30 districts in the province had suffered major losses as a result of flooding.
The chief minister of Sindh stated that the province has lost 550 billion rupees in addition to hundreds of fatalities and numerous injuries.
