KARACHI: Due to the influence of a new weather system, the port city is forecast to have light to moderate rains today (Sunday).
According to a statement from the PMD, moist currents are encroaching in the upper and central regions of the nation and are expected to last for the next two to three days.
Cities in Sindh, such as Tharparkar, Umerkot, Badin, Mirpur, Tando Muhammad Khan, Sujawal, and Thatta, may see showers due to the current weather system.
According to the PMD, most of Karachi is predicted to see hot and muggy weather over the next three days, and on September 13 the port city is likely to experience severe rain and lightning.
“Rain-wind-thunderstorm is expected in Kashmir, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Upper Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Lower Sindh,” said the PMD.
