The Muharram processions will take place on the eighth, ninth, and tenth of Muharram (July 27, 28, and 29), and the Karachi Traffic Police has shared the traffic plan.

The public will begin their procession on Muharram 9 (July 28) at 9 am from the Liaquatabad Imambargah on Martin Road and will reach Nishtar Park for the main assembly at 12 pm.

The procession will then proceed to the Hussainian Iranian Imambargah via Sir Shah Nawaz Bhutto Road, Mehfil-e-Shah-e-Khurasan, MA Jinnah Road, Mansfield Street, Preedy Street, Tibet Centre, Bolton Market, Bombay Bazaar, Kharadar, and Nawab Mohabbat Khanji Road.

The main procession to the Hussainian Iranian Imambargah will leave from Nishtar Park on July 29 at 7:30 am and travel down Sir Shah Nawaz Bhutto Road, Mehfil-e-Shah-e-Khurasan, MA Jinnah Road, Mansfield Street, Preedy Street, Tibet Centre, MA Jinnah Road, Bolton Market, Bombay Bazaar, Kharadar, and Nawab Mohabbat Khanji Road.

All city traffic will be diverted to Jubilee or Nishtar Road once the group has left Nishtar Park from Soldier Bazaar (Bahadur Yar Jung Road), Coast Guards HQ, and Ankle Saria Chowk.

All traffic from Nazimabad to MA Jinnah Road will be diverted via Nishtar Road from Lasbela Chowk to Garden. At the same time, traffic from Teen Hatti Chowk to Jail Road, which goes to Martin Road, will be rerouted from Liaquatabad to MA Jinnah Road.

The Jail Chowrangi Flyover and Jail Road provide access to Shahrah-e-Quaideen and Shahrah-e-Faisal, Dadabhai Noorji Road, Jamshed Road, and Kashmir Road.

All University Road traffic traveling in the direction of MA Jinnah Road will be able to continue on to New MA Jinnah Road.

However, traffic will use the road that runs beneath the Jail Chowrangi, Kashmir Road, the Society Light Signal, and Shahrah-e-Quaideen to get to Shahrah-e-Faisal.

All traffic will be detoured around Liaquatabad No. 10, Nazimabad Chowrangi No. 2, Habib Bank Flyover, State Avenue Road, and Shershah to Mauripur instead of taking the Super Highway from Gulberg to MA Jinnah Road.

All vehicles using the National Highway to enter the city, including those using Shahrah-e-Faisal or Rashid Minhas Road, Stadium Road, Sir Shah Sulaiman Road, Hassan Square, Liaquatabad No. 10, Naziabad Chowrangi No. 2, Habib Bank Flyover, State Avenue Road, or Shershah to Mauripur, are welcome to proceed as usual.

Beyond Gurumandir Chowk, no movement will be allowed on the procession routes. Instead, traffic will be diverted to Soldier Bazaar on Bahadur Yar Jung Road.

Only vehicles with authorized stickers on their windscreens will be allowed to join the procession on MA Jinnah Road. These automobiles are permitted to enter the procession through the Shahrah-e-Quaideen.

After being diverted to Holy Family Hospital and Jubilee Chowk, all traffic from the Garden (the Karachi Zoo) to Agha Khan Road will be allowed to continue towards Ankle Saria Hospital.
