A severe cold wave is gripping the entire nation as the wet weather comes to an end. It’s projected that temperatures in several areas of Sindh, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) may shatter records.
The winter in Karachi is the coldest it has been in many years. This season, the provincial capital has often witnessed temperature records.
After experiencing the coldest night of the winter on Friday, Karachi awoke. Karachi recorded 4.9°C last night, according to Pak Weather, the largest automated weather station network in Pakistan.
This temperature was reported in Surjani Town, according to Owais Hyder, a weather analyst and the CEO of Pak Weather, who was speaking with Daily Nation Pakistan. The rest of the city saw a 6–11°C temperature range.

In Karachi, 0°C was the lowest temperature ever recorded in 1934. Regarding the present cold snap, this week’s temperatures in central Sindh could drop to zero degrees and below zero degrees in western and northern regions.
