Jutta Leerdam, a champion in SPEED SKATING, explained the key to her astounding success.
The “world’s hottest speed skater,” Leerdam, shone brightly during the ISU Speed Skating World Cup two weeks ago in Calgary.
The Dutch athlete finished first for the fourth time in a row in the 1000-meter race, earning a gold medal.
In her most recent victory, the 23-year-old finished in less than 1 minute, 13 seconds.
The speed skater admitted that her “extra weight” is the reason for her recent success.
Leerdam said on NPO Radio 1: “I have grown heavier and stronger. I now draw strength from that excess fat.
The professional skater posts about all of her achievements on social media.
Over 3 million people have followed her on Instagram as a result of that.
Her online profile has increased as a result of her success in Canada.
“The race wasn’t flawless, especially my opener, since I had a miss-stroke at the start, but eventually I skated a 26.2 lap,” Leerdam remarked following the competition.
“When I saw that, I thought wow, and the speed came really easy.
“I learn every race. It doesn’t need to be perfect, especially not if you win by a 0.7s margin, but I want to get the best out of it every time of course.”
