A FLORIDA man was detained on suspicion of murdering his wife and adolescent stepson with a hammer and then raping a witness.
According to court filings, Justin Jones, 41, is accused of killing two people during a spree of vicious violence within a Lake County trailer park on Wednesday.
Around 2:00 pm, deputies from the Lake County Sheriff’s office responded to a call at the Thousand Trails Resort and RV park. After witnessing a terrible murder, a woman claimed that she was severely bound up and raped.
A disturbing affidavit claims that when detectives arrived, they found two victims inside a blood-spattered RV.
Officials think Jones beat his 38-year-old wife Sandra Gaudino with a hammer before concealing her body under a mattress in a garbage bag.
The mess was discovered when Jones’ stepson, 17, returned home the following day, according to the police.
According to the affidavit that WESH was able to get, Jones then attacked the stepson, named as Ty Finister, and killed him with the same hammer before wrapping his head in a bag.
Lt. Fred Jones of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office said, “In 25 years of doing this, this is certainly one of the worst.”
