Joel O’Grady and Julian Falkinburg two Florida males were detained after a guy was allegedly assaulted during a wedding celebration.
According to FOX 35, the incident took place in Volusia County, Florida, and authorities claim that Tyler Kaltenbach, 36, was beaten by Julian Falkinburg, 21, and Joel O’Grady, 38.
Sept. 9 saw the arrest of the father and son.
Bonds were posted by O’Grady and Falkinburg, each for $100,000.
They are not permitted to communicate with Kaltenbach as part of their release conditions.
According to a 911 call, Kaltenbach was allegedly clinging to life while on the ground at the wedding location.
Both O’Grady and Falkinburg, according to a news statement from the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, have “extensive violent criminal records.”
Sheriff Mike Chitwood of Volusia County stated that a homicide may have been committed during the event.
“Somebody could have ended up with significant brain damage. We hear about these things all the time,” Chitwood said.
Kaltenbach, according to an attorney, will have a long road to recovery and requires facial reconstructive surgery.
