At the Australian Grand Prix, a glamorous model undressed down to a small bikini before posing for photos in the F1 workshop.
Jodhi Meares, an Australian star, was the girlfriend of media magnate James Packer at the time of the 1999 race before marrying him the following year. Because Packer is a powerful figure, Meares was granted entry to the racing grounds and made her debut in front of F1 supporters by posing in a barely there bikini.
Meares set hearts beating when he posed in a revealing purple bikini on the Williams workshop tyres ahead of qualification for the Australian Grand Prix in 1999.
The stunning model then changed into an equally provocative white bikini as she cuddled up to F1 driver Alex Zanardi at the Melbourne track.
Zanardi may have been perplexed by her appearance, as he didn’t know where to turn with the model by his side. The Italian could be excused for being distracted as he sped away after 19 circuits of the grand prix. Ralf Schumacher came through from eighth on the start to finish on the podium, with British sensation Eddie Irvine claiming the win.
In 1999, Meares married wealthy businessman Packer, but they separated eight years later. The Australian star rose to prominence at an early age after being selected as a Moove milk model at the age of 15. Prior to her Australian Grand Prix triumphs, the stunning personality was a member of the band Euphoria.

F1 arrived in Australia for the first time in 1985, with a street track in Adelaide before relocating to Melbourne in 1996. Due to restrictions in Australia during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Grand Prix was postponed in 2020 and 2021, but it resumed last year, with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc winning.
