Following the inexplicable disappearance of a Pennsylvania mother this week, COPS have opened an inquiry.
Police say that on Wednesday, January 4, Jennifer Brown, 43, was reported missing after failing to pick up her son from a bus stop.
A friend and coworker last spoke to Jennifer, a resident of Limerick Township, Pennsylvania, at roughly 2:00 PM on January 3.
Later, her automobile was discovered parked in front of her house.
She had her work cellphone, wallet, handbag, and auto keys inside the car, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.
Her personal cell phone, however, was missing and had not been in contact with anyone since Wednesday morning, according to detectives.
A representative for Jennifer’s family, Tiffany Barron, stated: “It’s really like we’re living in a movie that we watch on TV, it’s so incredible.
“Jennifer would never ever just disappear, she would never abandon her son. Noah is the love of her life.”
Jennifer’s neighbour Lisa Tomarelli added: “To have something like this happen a few houses away is a shock so we’re all… I’m a praying person and praying for some kind of resolution, some kind of answer.”
In an appeal for information, District Attorney Kevin Steele said: “Law enforcement is very concerned about the welfare of this mother, Jennifer Brown.”
She is described as having brown hair, green eyes, and standing 5′ 1″ tall and weighing about 150 lbs.
The township police department can be reached at 610-495-7909, and Montgomery County detectives can be reached at 610-226-5553.
The family of the missing mother is offering a reward of $10,000 for information that may help law police find her.
At 5.15 p.m. tonight, the neighbourhood will hold a candlelight vigil for Jennifer.
