JEMMA’S HEARTBREAK Nursery worker, 26, dies suddenly after ‘sadness of three miscarriages became too much to bear’https://www.gofundme.com/f/fundraiser-for-jemma-zoezee-was-roberts?utm_medium=referral&utm_source=unknown&utm_campaign=comms_fx3q+fundraiser-for-jemma-zoezee-was-roberts
Asa Roberts, her brother, stated, “I am so proud of Jem for how hard she fought to be happy… in the end, her sadness was too much to bear.”
Ms Zoezee, of Cae Ddol, Abergele, was found dead by suicide yesterday in Ruthin, North Wales. The family did not show up.
In a statement, her husband, Anthonio Zoezee, said she was “one of the kindest, caring, yet confident young women I have ever met.” She was bursting with enthusiasm.”
The couple lived in a new-build home opposite Gwrych Castle and his wife, “the sweetest girl I will ever know”, dreamed of travelling the world.
“She left a mark on all she met,” said Mr Zoezee. She suffered from depression after four miscarriages.
Coroner John Gittins said :”Given the particular circumstances I am satisfied it was probable her actions were with the intention of ending her life on that day.”
He expressed his “sincere condolences” to Mrs Zoezee’s family.
Following her death, her brother Asa Roberts told Wales Online: “The first miscarriage destroyed Jemma. There was very little support for her.
“No-one explained to her why she kept losing her babies, and the effect mentally put her under an immense amount of pressure.’
“I am so proud of Jem for how hard she fought to be happy.. in the end, her sadness was too much to bear.
“The money raised will help Jem’s husband Tony to cover funeral costs and we will donate the rest to a miscarriage charity that was close to Jem’s heart, Tommys.org
“Jem adored children and always has done. She’s been a part of so many people’s childhood from her Nanny jobs over the years, working in nurseries and then she met the (second) love of her life, our daughter, Ava-Skye.
“Kids brought so much happiness to Jem’s life. The pain of losing her babies was too much for her.
“Jem, we love you so much. We miss you everyday. Ava still asks to call ‘jemjem’.
“We will never be the same without you. We wake up every morning hoping this was just a horrible dream.
“You’re not hurting anymore, we all wish we could have done more.
Love you so much Jem, your brother Ace.”
