FORMER An inquest heard that BBC reality star Jasmine Burkitt her away after being discovered unconscious in the tent she was residing in.
In the reality series Small Teen Bigger World on BBC Three from ten years ago, Jazz, aka Jasmine, made an appearance.
Lewis Burke’s mother found the 28-year-old unconscious in the tent where the pair had been residing.
Jasmine’s provisional cause of death was listed as heart failure, according to an inquest.
An antipsychotic medication used to treat diseases like depression, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder was discovered in a toxicology report.
Prior to her passing on June 12, there had been a “decline in her mental health,” according to testimony during the hearing.
While investigations remain ongoing, a full inquiry was postponed until the new year.
Lewis and Jasmine struggled to find a suitable council property and eventually lived in a tent in a wooded area.
On their blog, the pair informed readers about their life with dog Loki in Bodelwyddan, Denbighshire.
They had recently acquired a caravan, which they intended to remodel into their new residence.
Lewis has now paid tribute to Jasmine, saying: “Everything has changed in just one year”.
He previously shared a string of touching photos of his beloved fiancee following her death.
He wrote at the time: “She is the most incredible human that ever walked this planet, she is the strongest, funniest, most kindest and purely decent person I’ve ever known.
“I am truly devastated. She changed my life forever and I’ll never be the same.”
