According to reports in the United States, Jansen Panettiere has died.
Hayden Panettiere’s younger brother is believed to have died over the weekend in New York.
According to TMZ, the cause of his death is currently unknown.
Jansen, who is five years Hayden’s junior, appeared in a number of TV shows and films in the early 2000s, including Shia LaBeouf’s show Even Stevens, Ice Age: The Meltdown, and a recurring role in Nickelodeon’s The X’s.
He also appeared in episodes of The Walking Dead and Major Crimes.
Hayden and Jansen collaborated on Tiger Cruise in 2004 and Racing Stripes in 2005.
Jansen was attached to four projects at the time of his reported death, indicating that he was set to return to the big screen before his untimely death.
Hayden, who appeared in Nashville and Heroes, would frequently post photos of her younger brother on social media, demonstrating to fans that the siblings were close.
In 2021, the star shared a sweet snap with Jansen. She took the selfie, writing: “Sibling time at the amaaaaazing market in #Tahiti #OceanDiaries @jrpanettiere.”
“That’s so abstract!” a second put.
A third wrote: “I’m a big fan of your work!”
While a fourth added: “Keep up the good work!”
Despite the fact that their faces were hidden behind masks due to the Covid pandemic, fans noticed Hayden’s gold necklace, which spelled out Kaya, the name of her seven-year-old daughter with ex Wladimir Klitschko.
Jansen’s most recent Instagram post was a photograph of art that he dubbed his “personal favourite.”
Fans commented on the artwork after it was posted in December of last year, with one writing, “It’s such a different piece of art!”
