Colorado College men’s tennis player Jack Madison, a sophomore, passed away in his sleep on January 2, the school reported.
Twenty was Madison’s age. There has been no mention of the cause of death.
Lesley Irvine, vice president and director of athletics at CC, issued a statement saying, “We are grieved by the untimely demise of Jack Madison.
Madison was a two-time all-state selection at Columbus Academy in Bexley, Ohio, when he was lured to Colorado Springs.
Hunter Brown, a 21-year-old Air Force football player, died unexpectedly on Monday following a “medical problem” close to his dorm, according to the school. Hunter Brown’s death preceded that of Madison.
