Jack Ging, a star of THE A-Team and Hawaii Five-O, passed away at 90, according to his wife.
According to his wife Apache, Ging passed away on Friday at his home in California from natural causes.
The famed NBC sitcom ran from 1983 to 1987 and featured actors including George Peppard, Dirk Benedict, Dwight Schultz, and Mr. T.
Mr. T, who played the role of B on The A-Team, had his career profiled. Baracus, A.
General Harlan “Bull” Fullbright, played by Ging, is the show’s adversary who learns that the show’s soldiers of fortune were good guys rather than villains.
His on-screen persona was killed off when Fullbright was shot in the back while on a rescue operation to save his daughter.
It was a kids’ programme. In an interview, he playfully remarked, “They shot 10,000 machine guns from every roof and tossed bombs and grenades, yet nobody ever got killed – except me.
Ging worked primarily in the television industry, making appearances as a guest star on series such as Bat Masterson, The Roaring 20s, The Twilight Zone, Perry Mason, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, The Six Million Dollar Man, and Hawaii Five-O.
The movies Ghost of Dragstrip Hollow, Desire in the Dust, That Man Bolt, Where the Red Fern Grows, and Die Sister, Die! featured Ging as a leading lady.
Aside from his wife Apache, Ging is survived by his five children: Adam, Casey, Erin, Charlie, and Anna.
