When Croatia lost to Argentina, the “World Cup’s hottest fan” sought to cheer them up with a bikini-busting photo.
Stunning Ivana Knoll praised her country’s football heroes for their heroic efforts after they were eliminated from the competition.
However, the gorgeous brunette also used the occasion to criticise referee Daniele Orsato for his contentious penalty call.
The model made it plain that she held the Italian official accountable for their 3-0 loss in a fiery yet biting social media statement.
Ivana posted two incredible pictures of herself rejoicing in the stadium while wearing a red-and-white costume.
The Croatian beauty made her heartbroken fans smile while donning a plunging halterneck bikini top and form-fitting leggings.
She then complimented Zlatko Dali’s team on their accomplishments in the 2022 World Cup before criticising the referee for his decision.
In the caption of an Instagram post, the 30-year-old wrote: “Sometimes we play brilliantly, other times not so good.
“Sometimes in the semi-finals we have bad referee like yesterday to give penalty for nothing and losing the chance to get the trophy.
“Sometimes we are underrated and then we show the way home to the most favored team, that is football…
“But the most important thing, we are A SMALL COUNTRY WITH A BIG HEART and I am proud to be a Croatian forever and ever!”
Argentina, led by Lionel Messi, easily defeated Croatia, with the magician scoring once and assisting on another.
Julian Alvarez, a star for Manchester City, scored twice, with a wonderful second goal coming after a truly amazing pass from Messi.
But before all of this, Luka Modric and company were incensed at the penalty that was given for Argentina’s opening goal.
Alvarez was taken out by Dominic Livakovic as he charged out of the goal and fell to the ground.
Messi converted the penalty for Argentina after the collision, and Livakovic received a booking for his actions.
Later, Croatian player Modric attacked Orsato, calling him “one of the worst” officials to ever on the field and a “disaster.”
After Croatia’s dreams of winning the world championship were destroyed, the team’s legion of supporters, including heartthrob Ivana, inexorably agreed with his condemnation.
But the stunning German-born woman made sure her 2.8 million fans knew they weren’t leaving empty-handed.
She urged Croatians to find comfort in the fact that they had miraculously eliminated five-time champions Brazil.
Croatia will return to the stadium on Saturday for the third-place playoff even though they won’t be taking part in the finals anymore.
Depending on who loses on Wednesday, they will either play France or Morocco.
