Ivana Knoll, a former Miss Croatia, wore her signature outfits while speaking with Piers Morgan.
Morgan sat down with Knoll to talk about how her costumes were perceived in the Middle East after her revealing attire caused controversy at the Qatar World Cup. The 30-year-old beauty (that’s Knoll, not Morgan) first gained notoriety after disobeying the tournament hosts’ strict dress code by donning a G-string late last month.
Knoll asserts that the Qataris have accepted her clothing choices, though. Knoll was asked by Morgan on Wednesday’s episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored if she had encountered any “resistance” to her attire while wearing a tight-fitting bra decorated with Croatian flags.
She replied: “No, to be honest. I’ve been very surprised, very happy, they [the Qataris] accept my clothing.” Adding: “Women, men, kids take pictures with me.
“Many people are here from other countries,” Knoll continued. “I didn’t have any bad reactions [to my outfits].” Away from the players on the pitch, Knoll has been one of the breakout stars of the World Cup.
Over the course of the competition, the German-born beauty’s Instagram following soared to 1.7 million, in large part as a result of her contentious clothing choices. With her G-string bikinis, tiny bras, plunging outfits, and casual demeanour, Knoll has won over a sizable following. And as Croatia gets ready to play Brazil in a World Cup quarterfinal on Friday, fans can expect more from the fearless goddess.
In the stadium, Knoll wore a tiny tank top to watch Croatia beat Japan in the round of 16. She had previously dressed in a scanty plunging bra for her country’s 0-0 draw with Belgium.
Knoll encouraged the Qatari authorities to respect her way of life earlier in the competition, and it seems like they did. She told PA, “At first, I was assuming that if the World Cup is taking place there, they will give us everything to make it nice for all fans without any limits.
“I was startled when I learned about the rules after that. I was thinking, “Oh my God, I don’t even have the clothes to cover all of that,” because the dress code forbids displaying shoulders, knees, tummy, and everything else.
