On Tuesday, the iQoo Neo 8 series was introduced in China. The iQoo Neo 8 and iQoo Neo 8 Pro models are part of the series. Three different color options are available for the handsets. The 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED screens on the smartphones have a refresh rate of 144Hz. On top of Android 13 OS, they use Origin OS 3.0. The 5,000mAh batteries inside the phones support 120W fast charging. Both devices include Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and 5G support.
Price and Availability:
Priced at CNY 2,499, the iQoo Neo 8 entry-level 12GB + 256GB model is available. The prices for the 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 512GB models, meanwhile, are CNY 2,799 and CNY 3,099, respectively.
The market prices of the iQoo Neo 8 Pro 16GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB variants, on the other hand, are CNY 3,299 and CNY 3,599, respectively.
Night Rock, Match Point, and Surf are the three color options available for both iQoo Neo 8 smartphones. Pre-orders for the models began on May 23; the phones will be available for purchase starting May 31.

A 6.78-inch 1.5K (2800 x 1260 pixels) AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz PWM dimming is featured on the iQoo Neo 8 and iQoo Neo 8 Pro. The edges of the Pro model are slightly curved.
The octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and Adreno GPU power the iQoo Neo 8, while the Neo 8 Pro has an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset and Immortalis-G715 GPU. On top of Android 13 OS, they use Origin OS 3.0.
Storage:
The series has up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage and up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
Cameras:
The iQoo Neo 8 has a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor with a bokeh lens for optics, while the iQoo Neo 8 Pro has an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX866V main sensor. A 16-megapixel front camera sensor is present on both models, and it is positioned in the center of two hole-punch slots at the top of the display.
Battery and Charging:
A 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support is provided by both smartphones.

Both the iQoo Neo 8 and Neo 8 Pro have in-display fingerprint sensors and USB Type-C charging ports. They offer connectivity for 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and NFC.

The iQoo Neo 8 series’ Match Point (red) variant has a leatherback finish and is, therefore, thicker in stature. The vanilla iQoo Neo 8 in the Night Rock and Surf colors weighs 194.6 grams and has dimensions of 164.72mm x 77mm x 8.36mm. The iQoo Neo 8 Match Point model has dimensions of 164.72mm x 77mm x 8.53mm and a weight of 189.5 grams.
The iQoo Neo 8 Pro weighs 192.3 grams for the Match Point variant and 196.9 grams for the Night Rock and Surf variants. The Pro models and the entry-level model have similar size requirements.
