The Pixel 6 and iPhone 13 have few features in common since Apple and Google made distinct decisions on practically every aspect of the design of these two flagships, from the hardware to the design.

The ability for Qi wireless charging, which many customers have come to expect, is one of the few features both devices share. They both have OLED panels, however their resolutions are different.

Additionally, both smartphones have two back cameras, one with a primary lens and the other with an ultra-wide lens, as well as a front-facing camera, although one with a different set of features.

Differences:

The Google Pixel 6 is one of three models, along with the Google Pixel 6a and Pro, whereas the iPhone 13 is one of four sister models together with the iPhone Mini, Pro, and Pro Max.

The discrepancies between the iPhone 13 and Pixel 6 in terms of design and specifications are largely due to the difference in price range.

The Pixel 6 has a much larger 6.4-inch display and a faster 90Hz refresh rate than the iPhone 13, which has a 6.1-inch display with a 60Hz refresh rate.

The battery in the Pixel 6 is also significantly bigger than the one in the iPhone 6. The Google gadget has a 4,614mAh battery as opposed to an Apple device’s 3,240mAh.

iPhone 13 vs Google Pixel 6: Camera

The camera will be one of the key decision points for people choosing either of these phones. Both devices have excellent cameras and many useful functions, but for some of you, one might be somewhat superior.

In contrast to the Pixel 6’s normal 8MP front-facing camera, Apple gave you a 12MP front-facing camera if you frequently take selfies.

While the iPhone 13 has a smaller 12MP main lens and 12MP ultrawide lens, the Google Pixel 6 features a 50MP main lens and a 12MP ultrawide lens.

Though bigger doesn’t always equate to better, the iPhone 13’s main camera lens let in more light thanks to its wide aperture, which is beneficial in low-light situations.

In spite of this, Google made enhancements to the Pixel 6 that make it better at capturing moving objects after hearing complaints about the Pixel 5.

Although the differences between the two cameras may not seem significant to the typical user, people who are serious about photography should take them into account.

iPhone 13 vs Google Pixel 6: Design

These two handsets are noticeably different in size at first glance, with the Google Pixel 6 having a larger 6.4-inch display than the iPhone 13’s 6.1-inch display.

The Google Pixel 6 is larger and significantly longer whereas the iPhone 13 is tiny. In addition, you can also tell that the two devices have different design choices.

On the iPhone 13, Apple chose to make the bezels slightly bigger, and the front-facing camera cuts a notch out of the screen.

In comparison, the Pixel 6’s bezel is slimmer and its punch-hole front-facing camera occupies less area.

Both gadgets share a luxury feel thanks to their front and back glass designs. Apple chose Ceramic Shield for the iPhone 13 while choosing Gorilla Glass for the Pixel 6.

So whether you want a bigger screen or something smaller actually depends on your personal preference.

Both Google and Apple provide people with amazing capabilities that become hot topics of conversation; in 2021, these features related to the cameras on these two devices.

On the Google Pixel 6, it takes the form of top-notch editing tools, while on the Apple iPhone 13, it takes the form of cutting-edge filming.

Even Apple aficionados agree that Google’s Magic Eraser, which can remove undesirable photo bombers, is the Pixel 6’s highlight feature and lives up to the expectations. Also included is Face Unblur, which improves the clarity of faces in your pictures.

When the iPhone 13 was first released in 2021, its Cinematic video mode—which let you to change the focus and blur the background as you record—was one of its main selling points.

Face ID is a security feature on the iPhone 13 that the Pixel 6 does not have, as Google only introduced Fingerprint ID on its previous flagship Pixel 6.

However, both of these phones come with IP68-certified water protection, so if you’re worried about using water a lot, you may use any of these phones without worrying.

Each of these gadgets has a different battery size, with the Google Pixel 6 having a 4,614mAh battery and the Apple iPhone 13 having a much smaller 3,240mAh battery.

Even though the iPhone 13’s battery is smaller than the iPhone 12, which had a 2,815mAh battery, it is still an improvement.

It’s also crucial to remember that iOS devices often use less power than Android smartphones, so in this case, bigger isn’t necessarily better.

However, the length of time you can get out of either smartphone actually depends on your usage habits. However, the average user will have no trouble getting a day’s worth of use out of the Pixel 6 or iPhone 13, and as a pleasant touch, both come with Qi wireless charging.

iPhone 13 vs Google Pixel 6: Price

When they were first released, the Apple iPhone 13 cost more than its Google Pixel 6 cousin, which went on sale for £599 as opposed to £799.

With the introduction of new flagship devices since then, things have changed, but the Google Pixel 6 is still the more inexpensive choice, with a £232 price difference between the two.

However, there is hardly any difference between these two choices if you desire a pay monthly plan. On the Apple iPhone 13 and Google Pixel 6, respectively, you can obtain 100GB of data for just £37 with no up-front costs.
