Running back Marlon Mack sustained a serious injury, a torn left Achilles tendon, just four days after signing with the Cardinals. His tragic fate for the current campaign was sealed by the injury.

In a formal statement released by the company on Wednesday, it was revealed that Marlon Mack had been placed on the injured reserve list. This latest information proves he won’t be available for the remainder of the year.

In response to Marlon Mack’s injury and subsequent placement on the injured reserve list, the Cardinals have taken precautionary measures. They hired running back Stevie Scott to fill the void.

Before this most recent injury, Mack spent his first five seasons playing for the Colts. After starting down a different road, he split the previous season between the San Francisco 49ers and the Denver Broncos. He played in eight games and over the course of these adjustments amassed 185 rushing yards and one touchdown.

With 2,568 rushing yards and an impressive 21 touchdowns during his six-season career, Mack has made a significant contribution. His versatility as a receiver and his 65 career receptions for 547 yards and three additional scores attest to this.

Stevie Scott, a member of the USFL’s Michigan Panthers, carried the ball 78 times for 295 yards and one touchdown in his most recent game.

Scott’s NFL career officially began in 2021 when he signed as an undrafted rookie with the New Orleans team. He then spent time with the Denver team over the past two years.

Over the course of his three-year collegiate career, which spanned from 2018 to 2020, Stevie Scott represented Indiana University. Over the course of 31 games, he significantly contributed to the team’s victory. His accomplishments were acknowledged by his inclusion on the All-Big Ten team twice.

While a student at Indiana, Scott showed his talent on the field. He amassed an incredible 2,543 rushing yards on 562 carries while scoring 30 touchdowns. He hauled in 55 passes for 383 yards and two additional touchdowns, displaying receiving abilities that were just as diverse.
