Former Pakistani president Asif Ali Zardari has advised Imran Khan to show up in court and not to run or be afraid.
In response to the previous prime minister’s imprisonment and the riots, he claimed that despite spending 14 years in prison, he never allowed a criminal to take the law into his own hands.
Asif Zardari called the riots in the cities that followed Imran Khan’s arrest unfortunate and repulsive, and he added that any form of anarchy or destruction of government property would not be tolerated.
He made harsh criticisms and asserted that PPP leaders had lived their entire lives in prison without resorting to violence to uphold the law.
According to the former president of Pakistan, Asif Zardari, Imran Khan has been detained in connection with a corruption case.
