Following Australia’s 3-2 loss in the five-match ODI series against South Africa, Pakistan has reclaimed the top spot in the ICC ODI rankings.
India has moved up to the second spot, replacing Australia, which had previously held the top spot in the rankings with Pakistan only a few points behind it.
In the recently finished Asia Cup 2023, the team led by Rohit Sharma put on an incredible performance, winning four games including the championship match.
Pakistan and India are currently tied for first place with 115 points each, with Australia coming in third with 113 points, and South Africa coming in fourth.
The top-ranked ODI team, Pakistan, will participate in the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023, which will begin on October 5 in India.
